11:22 am - Happy Trails to me........
Yes boys and girls, today is my last day working for the company that doesnt pay me. No more driving to Santa Monica everyday, no more sitting in traffic and looking at all the morons sporting the Kerry/Edwards stickers, no more Canada.

Word around here is that they will pay us SOMETHING today. Whether it be the full amount or even $20, it will tie me over.

So Monday i get to drive 10 min's to get to work. I get to work with my aunt so thankfully i wont have to deal with anymore stress.

Dont know how much ill be on LJ, but ill see ya guys around.

This is a dead mother and baby that was killed by the WMD's of Saddam Husein.

We know he had them and we know he used them on his own people. We havent found any WMD's yet, maybe he used them all, or maybe he can just hide them very well.  He obviously knows the use of holes in the ground.

For those of you who know me.  You know that I am an American.  Not just some hippie flag burning American, but one who loves this country, loves the freedom of this country and respects this country.

So when I hear about people saying negative things about my country, it affects me.  Just like I hope it affects the rest of you.

And what I've been hearing, pisses me off.  Here we have the greatest country in the world.  The most powerful country in the world.  The people in this country are no doubt the most couragous, honorable, toughest and yet the most caring people on this planet.  Were the type of people that would send food to a starving nation (N. Korea for instance) even though the government hates the very air we breathe and would love nothing more then for us to be dead.  We are the type of people that would rescue a country that is being trampled on, only to have those people we saved spit on our face or burn our flag.  I like to think of this country as an animal control division.  We go out and we find a dog that has been beaten and abused and we help it.  We can see that this dog is in pain, we can see that this dog is starving, and we can see that the owner can care less about this dog so we choose to help it.  We also know that there is a chance that we will get bitten maybe even killed to help this animal out.  Not because the animal hates us, it just doesnt know any better.  We also get barked at by other dogs, even attacked by other dogs, all because we choose to help out the sick and neglected dogs.  So just because all the other dogs are barking, it doesnt mean we are doing anything wrong.  How can you be doing anything wrong by feeding some animals that are starving?  Whats wrong with giving first aid to an animal that is being beaten and abused?  If you saw an owner beating his little dog or even beating it to death, that would spark rage into your hearts and you would want him to pay for what he did.  It could even be legal in this country to beat a dog, but you would want him to pay because you know it is not right and you feel for the defensless animal.

So why is it that this country has a bigger heart for a pet dog then for human beings?  Saddam TORTURED his people.  His sons RAPED women.  And yet allot of people in this country and the rest of the world complain at what we have done or are currently doing.  All we are doing people is going in and helping out some poor defensless doggy's who couldnt bite back hard enough to stop the beatings.  Lucky for them, a big dog walked by and saw what was going on.  A dog who didnt care if the rest of the world didnt want it to go in and save the day.  A dog who didnt care that one day this dog may hate him just for being bigger.  A dog who would still help even though this dog its helping may one day come back to his yard and cause some damage.

And its sad to say, but right now in my country, the owners are trying to put a leash on this dog.  Trying to destroy this dog because this dog helps out others that arent as strong or as big as this one.

This dog has done fine in the past few hundred years unleashed.  Millions of people in this world owe this dog their very lives.  Why?  Because this dog's got balls.  This dog's got respect and honor.  This dog has something that the majority of the world can only dream of or hate.  And that is Freedom.

Im against ever putting a leash on this dog.  This dog is grown up and knows exactly what its doing.  This dog knows how to strike in an offensive and knows how to defend at home.  But by putting a leash on this dog, your restraining it.  YOUR not letting this dog do its duty.  So when a stranger comes into your yard at night, and it comes in to murder your family and your neighbors, just know that this could of all been avoided if you took the leash off that dog and let him roam free.

This is Kim Jong Ill.  He is a dicator in N. Korea.  N. Korea is a communist country.  They outlaw all religion, well, unless you want to worship this "great leader" as his people are forced to call him, you will be persecuted or sent to one of his famous labor camps.

We send this clown tons of food each year knowing he is going against us and building nukes.  We also know that the majority of the food we send to his country to feed the people actually go to his military.  There is a story below on what happens if you sit down on a newspaper and his face happens to be on it (not kidding either)

The article below is just a little taste of what goes on in this country.  I have done tons of research on the North but this article is very well put together.  I was doing more research on the Christian persecution that goes on in the North, but thought you would like to read about it anyway.....

Our dog needs to bite this one in the ass and bite him hard and quick.

Death, terror in N. Korea gulag
NBC News investigation uncovers
horrific, extensive atrocities
A satellite image of the barracks and other facilities of Camp 22 at Haengyong in northeastern North Korea.
FIRST OF A SERIES
By Robert Windrem
NBC News Investigative Producer

Jan. 15, 2003 - In the far north of North Korea, in remote locations not far from the borders with China and Russia, a gulag not unlike the worst labor camps built by Mao and Stalin in the last century holds some 200,000 men, women and children accused of political crimes. A month-long investigation by NBC News, including interviews with former prisoners, guards and U.S. and South Korean officials, revealed the horrifying conditions these people must endure — conditions that shock even those North Koreans accustomed to the near-famine conditions of Kim Jong Il’s realm.

advertisement
“It's one of the worst, if not the worst situation — human rights abuse situation — in the world today,” said Sen. Sam Brownback, R-Kan., who held hearings on the camps last year. “There are very few places that could compete with the level of depravity, the harshness of this regime in North Korea toward its own people.”

Satellite photos provided by DigitalGlobe, which first appeared in the Far Eastern Economic Review, confirm the existence of the camps, and interviews with those who have been there and with U.S. officials who study the North suggest Brownback’s assessment may be conservative.

Among NBC News’ findings:

At one camp, Camp 22 in Haengyong, some 50,000 prisoners toil each day in conditions that U.S. officials and former inmates say results in the death of 20 percent to 25 percent of the prison population every year.

Products made by prison laborers may wind up on U.S. store shelves, having been “washed” first through Chinese companies that serve as intermediaries.

Entire families, including grandchildren, are incarcerated for even the most bland political statements.

Forced abortions are carried out on pregnant women so that another generation of political dissidents will be “eradicated.”

Inmates are used as human guinea pigs for testing biological and chemical agents, according to both former inmates and U.S. officials.

Efforts by MSNBC.com to reach North Korean officials were unsuccessful. Messages left at the office of North Korea’s permanent representative to the United Nations went unanswered.

Eung Soo Han, a press officer at South Korea’s U.N. consulate, said: “It is a very unfortunate situation, and our hearts go out to those who suffer. We hope North Korea will open up its country, and become more actively involved with the international community in order for the North Korean people to be lifted out of their difficult situation.”

Labor, death, abuse
NBC’s investigation revealed that North Korea’s State Security Agency maintains a dozen political prisons and about 30 forced labor and labor education camps, mainly in remote areas. The worst are in the country’s far Northeast. Some of them are gargantuan: At least two of the camps, Haengyong and Huaong, are larger in area than the District of Columbia, with Huaong being three times the size of the U.S. capital district.

Satellite photos provided by DigitalGlobe show several of the camps, including the notorious Haengyong, for the first time outside official circles. Plainly visible are acres upon acres of barracks, laid out in regimented military style. Surrounding each of them is 10-foot-high barbed-wire fencing along with land mines and man traps. There is even a battery of anti-aircraft guns to prevent a liberation by airborne troops.

Ahn Myong Chol, a guard at the camp (which is sometimes known as Hoeryong) from 1987 through 1994, examined the satellite photos of Camp 22 for NBC News. They were taken in April, eight years after he left. But he says little has changed. He was able to pick out the family quarters for prisoners, the work areas, the propaganda buildings.

Looking at the imagery, Ahn noted what happened in each building:

“This is the detention center,” he said. “If someone goes inside this building, in three months he will be dead or disabled for life. In this corner they decided about the executions, who to execute and whether to make it public.

“This is the Kim Il Sung institute, a movie house for officers. Here is watchdog training. And guard training ground.”

Pointing to another spot, he said: “This is the garbage pond where the two kids were killed when guard kicked them in pond.”

Another satellite photo shows a coal mine at the Chungbong camp where prisoners are worked to exhaustion in a giant pit.

“All of North Korea is a gulag,” said one senior U.S. official, noting that as many as 2 million people have died of starvation while Kim has amassed the world’s largest collection of Daffy Duck cartoons. “It’s just that these people [in the camps] are treated the worst. No one knows for sure how many people are in the camps, but 200,000 is consistent with our best guess.

“We don’t have a breakdown, but there are large numbers of both women and children.”

Beyond the pale
It is the widespread jailing of political prisoners’ families that makes North Korea unique, according to human rights advocates.

Under a directive issued by Kim’s father, North Korea’s founder, Kim Il Sung, three generations of a dissident’s family can be jailed simply on the basis of a denunciation.

NBC News interviewed two former prisoners and a former guard about conditions in the camps. The three spent their time at different camps. Their litany of camp brutalities is unmatched anywhere in the world, say human rights activists.

“Listening to their stories, it’s horrific,” said David Hawk, a veteran human rights campaigner and a consultant for the U.S. Committee for Human Rights in North Korea. Hawk has interviewed many former prisoners in Seoul.

“It’s hard to do more than one or two a day because they’re just so painful to hear: horrific mistreatment - all sorts of suffering, beatings to death, executions.”

Kang Chol-Hwan is now a journalist with Chosun Ilbo, South Korea’s most important newspaper. His recent book, “The Aquariums of Pyongyang,” is the first memoir of a North Korean political prisoner. For nearly a decade, he was imprisoned because his grandfather had made complimentary statements about Japanese capitalism. He was a 9-year-old when he arrived at the Yodok camp. His grandfather was never seen again, and prison conditions killed his father.

“When I was 10 years old,” Kang recalled, “We were put to work digging clay and constructing a building. And there were dozens of kids, and while digging the ground, it collapsed. And they died. And the bodies were crushed flat. And they buried the kids secretly, without showing their parents, even though the parents came.”

The system appears to draw no distinction between those accused of the crime and their family members.

Soon Ok Lee, imprisoned for seven years at a camp near Kaechon in Pyungbuk province, described how the female relatives of male prisoners were treated.

“I was in prison from 1987 till January 1993,” she told NBC News in Seoul, where she now lives. ”[The women] were forced to abort their children. They put salty water into the pregnant women’s womb with a large syringe, in order to kill the baby even when the woman was 8 months or 9 months pregnant.

“And then, from time to time there a living infant is delivered. And then if someone delivers a live infant, then the guards kick the bloody baby and kill it. And I saw an infant who was crying with pain. I have to express this in words, that I witnessed such an inhumane hell.”

Testing on humans
Soon also spoke about the use of prisoners as guinea pigs, which a senior U.S. official describes as “very plausible. We have heard similar reports.”

“I saw so many poor victims,” she said. “Hundreds of people became victims of biochemical testing. I was imprisoned in 1987 and during the years of 1988 through ’93, when I was released, I saw the research supervisors — they were enjoying the effect of biochemical weapons, effective beyond their expectations — they were saying they were successful.”

She tearfully described how in one instance about 50 inmates were taken to an auditorium and given a piece of boiled cabbage to eat. Within a half hour, they began vomiting blood and quickly died.

A shot of the enormous Chunbong camp from space.

“I saw that in 20 or 30 minutes they died like this in that place. Looking at that scene, I lost my mind. Was this reality or a nightmare? And then I screamed and was sent out of the auditorium.”

Prison guard Ahn’s memories are, like the others’, nothing short of gruesome. Every day, he said there were beatings and deaths.

“I heard many times that eyeballs were taken out by beating,” he recalled. “And I saw that by beating the person the muscle was damaged and the bone was exposed, outside, and they put salt on the wounded part. At the beginning I was frightened when I witnessed it, but it was repeated again and again, so my feelings were paralyzed.”

Moreover, said Ahn, beating and killing prisoners was not only tolerated, it was encouraged and even rewarded.

“They trained me not to treat the prisoners as human beings. If someone is against socialism, if someone tries to escape from prison, then kill him,” Ahn said. “If there’s a record of killing any escapee then the guard will be entitled to study in the college. Because of that some guards kill innocent people.”

President Bush told author and Washington Post Assistant Managing Editor Bob Woodward last year that he was well aware of the camps and the atrocities. That, officials say, partly explains why Bush insisted on North Korea’s inclusion in the “axis of evil” in his 2002 State of the Union address.

“I loathe Kim Jong Il,” Bush told Woodward during an interview for the author’s book “Bush at War.” “I’ve got a visceral reaction to this guy because he is starving his people. And I have seen intelligence of these prison camps — they’re huge — that he uses to break up families and to torture people.”

Brownback, a senator with a reputation as a human rights advocate, thinks that the prison camps and abuses have for too long taken a back seat to nuclear arms and other Korean issues.

“It seems that what happened is that there got to be a complex set of issues, and people said, ‘Well OK, it’s about our relationship with China, it’s about the Korean Peninsula, it’s about this militaristic regime in North Korea that we don’t want to press too much because they may march across the border into South Korea.”

Brownback says the North’s nuclear program, its missile tests and generally unpredictable behavior has blurred a critical issue:

“I think people just got paralyzed to really put a focus on the human face of this suffering,” he said.

re: Fish having feelings

Dear PETA,

I wish to thank you for giving me the “Truth” that fish do in fact have feelings.  I am so happy that there is an organization in this world that cares for not only fish, but for many of the creatures we share life with on mother earth.

I am also delighted to know that fish do in fact communicate with each other.  This brings up a question that has been on my mind for years now.  Can fish sing?  I saw a fish sing before my very own eyes one day while fishing (before I knew fish had feelings) in Santa Barbara.   I was sitting on the boat with my parents not catching anything all day when all of a sudden “WAM!!!” I catch a fish.  It was a battle I will never forget.  Back and forth for a good solid 5 minutes and then brought him into the boat.  I will never forget what happened next.

As I held the fish in my hand, the first thing I noticed was the blood.  It was pouring out through the gills and as the fish kept wiggling, the blood spewed all over the place and got all over my shirt.  When I noticed the blood on my shirt I immediately tightened my grip on the fish and noticed a small croaking noise coming out of the mouth of the fish.  Of course, the caveman that I was at the time, didn’t know fish could speak or communicate.  It sounded like crooookitdahhhh, with the T silent.  I didn’t think much of it at the time so I continued.  The next thing that happened on this horrendous ordeal is torture device removal (removal of the fishing hook).  This is the part that got to me the most.  Even though I am the “Last of the Urban Gunslingers” it really touched me hearing what I heard next.  As I rammed the needle nose pliers down the throat of this fish, I realized that the hook was all the way down to the belly of the fish.  Thinking about this now, I am saddened thinking about the amount of pain this fish must of gone through to have a hook piercing its belly.  But it must of felt allot worse when I was bringing him in.  All that fighting really set the hook deep into the intestines of this fish and now here I am playing Dr. trying to save the patient with a pair of needle nose pliers.  As I was feeling around the inside of the fish with the pliers, I heard the sound of metal hitting metal.  Bingo I thought, I got this sucker now.   I squeezed down on the pliers getting a good hold on the hook.  And as I started to pull the hook out, I noticed it was caught on some part of the fishes stomach.  So being the caveman that I was back then, I decided it was best for the fish if I just pulled it out real quick.  You know, like ripping a piece of tape that gets stuck to your body.  If you go slow it must hurt more, and fast hurts less.  As I yanked this hook out of the fishes body I noticed 2 things.

1)      The amount of intestines that came out of the mouth.

2)      This loud croaking high pitched noise it was making.

You know, for a long time there I couldn’t sleep at night thinking about what ive done.  I always thought the noise this fish made was noise of intense agonizing pain.   But now after reading your article this whole thing has put me to ease.  I can now go to sleep at night knowing that the fish wasn’t crying from me pulling its guts out, but rather singing for joy that I got the hook out of its mouth.

Thank you again for your help of our wiggly, persecuted friends in the sea.

11:35 am - PETA..... turning Americans into girly men.......

Fish Amnesty

PETA's new "Turn in Your Tackle" Campaign, launched on Fish Amnesty Day, September 25, aims to relegate fishing to the historical trash heap. Fish deserve compassion just as all animals do. They are intelligent and they experience pain and suffering every bit as much as any dog or cat. We're calling on people to send us their old poles, tackle, and other fishing gear so that we can use it in our demonstrations and other Fish Empathy Project endeavors.

Consider the Following:

  • Fish are capable of identifying other individual fish and remembering past social interactions with other fish.
  • Fish learn how to react to predators, often by observing the responses of other fish nearby.
  • This year, New Scientist reported, "The structure of the fish brain is varied and rather different from ours, but it functions in a very similar way."
  • For more facts about fish, please click here.

Take a stand against cruelty by retiring your fishing gear and gathering up the gear of your friends and loved ones and sending it to PETA.

I havent the energy to respond to this today, but I will post my email to PETA....

09:57 am - DAHHHHHHHHHH
What a weekend. I did everything from partying hard for my b-day to freaking Scotts sister out. It was great. Thank you guys again for taking me out. I had a blast and made it through the whole nite without passing out. Gracias.

UPDATE**

Well, it is now affecting me. This job is starting to give me "the fear". I was in a great mood this morning... jammmin out to Dub side of the moon in a beautiful overcast day in Santa Monica. Then, i walk into the office.... AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Because my boss' here love to give me shit (especially when they havent paid me STILL goin on 3 weeks now) i have decided to not give them a 2 week notice. So one day, i will just not be here. muahahahahahaha.

Most likely i will end up just writing a nasty letter (on my company's letterhead of course) basically going off on some issues i have with this place. Also i have decided to photocopy a picture of my hand "middle finger wont go down, how do i wave" onto the server and then use it as a watermark for my letter. Anything i can do to give it an added touch you know?...

So i have decided to give my readers what they have been demanding.

If you have ever wanted to do something crazy when you quit a job, but didnt have the balls to do it, then please post your suggestions here and i will select the best one (or pick a little from each) and carry out the plan.

IF THEY PAY ME... i think i will cough up the xtra bucks and hire one of those "singing telegrams" and send them to my office along with a cameraman to sing a little tune to my bosses. I think this would be the best. I can picture it now......

Monday morning 9:00am, when my boss starts looking for me and cant find me, i will have the "singing telegram" walk in, do a little dance and tune and then hand my boss' the quitting letter.

I wonder how much it would cost to have this done. The song would of course be rude and obnoxious, but yet not too short or lone.

I have a question for the MaDa boys. How much would i have to pay you guys to do a dance / song and hand my boss the letter. Im thinking Jeff could film (plus it would be funny on your website) and tape Chris and Flip singing and dancing and making an ass of themselves.

This is going to be great....

10:54 am - Decisions Decisions...

I have a major decision to make on my hands and I need to make it soon.  It all involves a career move/change and don’t know what I should do.

Here are my options.

#1   Continue to work at the present company and see if they make it through this "great depression" they call a financial issue until I get a call from my Aunt in AZ to move up there and start working.

#2   Quit this job, and work for my other Aunt tutoring Kindergarteners - 12th grade.  Mostly kids that are out of Juvi or x gang member.  Pay is very good and the job im sure would be simple.  Unfortunately this decision involves a commitment which I don’t know if I should make or not.  If I tutor children, I must commit for about a month and a half for each child.  I guess each child gets 25 hours of tutor time so it works about to about a month - month and a half.  So if I commit, and my Aunt in AZ calls.  I shall be in a predicament I don’t want to be in.  But the pay is $25 an hour and I can take on as many hours as I can handle.  Basically I would be making double then what im making now.

#3   Quit this job, collect unemployment, move to AZ and learn the appraisal business and wait till the business picks up so I can work.   When business picks up, this job will be a full on career with lots of cash.  But, don’t know when this will happen.  Business can literally pick up any day now.  Lots of benefits in AZ however.  I can carry weapons, ride a bike without a helmet or even tint my windows without living in fear of getting a ticket.

Either way, option #1 shall be tossed to the gutter.  So its either decision #1 or #2.  Any ideas people?

AND NO!!!!!!!!  Don’t just say #2 because you don’t want me to move away.

10:23 am - "Our Country"
AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, now that i got that out of the way i honestly feel a little bit better. Long week I had, but to my friends out there i wish to thank you for comforting me and just being there. I dont know if i could of gotten through it without you.

I believe times like these show the true character of people. And for one person in specific, i am ashamed of you. You were a tight friend to all of us at one point, and for you to not show up because of your pride makes me truly sick. Ian put a roof over your head and was a friend of yours, and for you to not show up is a disgrace to you and your family (not that any of us held them in high standards). You truly are a Rat Bastard.

Anyway, with that aside. I will now comment on the movie "Hero" starring Jet Li. Jet Li is the only one worth mentioning, cuz quite frankly, everyone else sucks. Mr. Li is the man. Pure and simple, Bruce Lee would get his ass kicked if he were in the ring with Jet Li. But unfortunately for Mr. Li the writers of this movie were high on smack. I can see them now, writing part of the movie, taking a break, shooting up a load of hot sizzling smack and injecting it into their arms. Only then to light up a cigarette and write about Mr. Li using his sword as a pogo stick on the lake. Yes, i was saddened by this movie. Not because anything Jet Li did, his scenes are amazing. Because the movie lacked, whats the word, oh yeh, a story. Yes the cinemetogrophy in this film was beautiful, beautiful scenery, blah blah blah... But it just sucked... too much talking, not even close to enough blood, Moon with her tears and lack of ninja assasin skill (Mr. Li should of cut that chick for being annoying)... What a sad week... and i go to Jet Li for comfort, and he fails me... come on, pogo sticks on water? Then homeboy has to run.. sorry, fly over the water, to wipe the water off of this chicks cheek? AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!...

Mr. Terrentino - You suck... If you were going to bore me for 2 hours of watching one of your films, at least disgrace an actor that sucks. Not the king of all kung-fu flicks Mr. Jet Li.

I could go on for hours regarding this flick. The movie went back and forth so much i thought i was having an acid flash back... Yes, that aweful. Back and forth back and forth... This is not the way its suposed to be people...

Here is how a KungFu flick goes:

Good guy either gets whooped on as a child or bad guys kill family when he returns home from work, etc... Good guy prepares himself by swording to death a few bad guys, followed by screams of victory.... Good guy then meets a good girl, then sleeps with her, then usually bad guys kill this girl too.... Good guy has enough and sneaks into the Lair of Bad Guy... Of course bad guys has little amateur kung fu goons which Mr. Good Guy has no problem using variety of weapons on... From there you have the main battle, good guy vs. bad guy. Bad guy always has the coolest of weapons... usually the weapon alway shoots out toxic darts which the Good Guy can catch with his teeth and then go in for the kill... go back to kiss the girl (if alive) and then leave her at her grandfathers rice store while you continue your journey alone, and as a pimp.

Heres how a bad one goes:

cant decide on which story to use so you throw 3 together... fall in love with your chick only to have her shanghai you at the end... then SCREAM like a BANSHEE cuz you killed him... HELLO lady, if your going to swing a sword at someone, your going to end up killing him... and what was it for? Honor? Please, there was no honor in anything you said (thank God she didnt speak to to much... my favorite... ALLOW the killer assasin to cut you purposely... wheres the honor? wheres the pride here people? NO... you dont allow yourself to be killed or "cut" when you dont know this guy... your breaking the freegin rules people!!!!

And to make things worse... no fight at the end... surely i was expecting to see Mr. Li kick some major ass... why wouldnt he? Hes got a cool sword, his is the Ninja assasin of all Ninja assasins, and he's surrounded by thousands and thousands of goons...

Saddened I am.... my Hero gets arrowed at the end... and for what?

"OUR COUNTRY"

Kiss my ass...

HOW HARD IS THIS TO UNDERSTAND.
